GENERAL INFORMATION

If making art in the great outdoors is your passion, head for Scott Manor this summer.  Just pack up your easel and paints, or whatever you need, then come and find your inspiration.   The stately house that Joseph Scott built nearly 250 years ago still stands, surrounded by tranquil grounds.  It is all yours to discover on the site where Fort Sackville also stood, when British Redcoats guarded the mouth of the Sackville River. Pick your spot and create.  You may be inspired by the lines of the house, by a single flower nodding gracefully in the sun, or some detail that has escaped everyone’s eye but yours.

This is not a juried event or a competition.  If you are a newcomer to discovering the exciting world of visual art, you are just as welcome as a seasoned professional.  There will be an opportunity to show and sell after the final painting session (dates given below).  All regulations pertaining to the event follow here at http://www.scottmanor.ca
